CAPITAL DISTRICT HUMANIST SOCIETY BOOK SEMINAR

Summer 2012 Schedule

 

 

 Meetings are held from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m., on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from September through early June with occasional exceptions, and holiday recesses. They will be held in room 101 of the Campus Center, Sage College, Albany, unless otherwise noted at the site.


The book club is currently reading The Better Angels of Our Nature, by Steven Pinker.


May note:

Next session will be Thursday, May 23 We are now at page 521 of the Pinker Book (The Better Angels of Our Nature). Guenther says he hopes to get at least to page 556! Onward!

Directions to room 101: Enter the Campus Center parking lot from Academy Road (one block south of New Scotland Ave., and actually the second entrance to the Sage Campus when coming from New Scotland).  Enter either door when proceeding from parking lot, and go to the right.  Room 101 is down the hall through one or two doors, and on the left.   If per chance you have parked at the administration building, walk over to the Campus Center, and from that entrance, turn left and proceed down the corridor as above.
